A second opinion in neuroradiology provides an independent specialist review of imaging studies, including MRI and CT of the brain, spine, and orbits. This service is available to clinicians and other healthcare providers.
Reports are provided by a consultant neuroradiologist with subspecialist expertise in disorders of the skull base and orbits, neurodegeneration, neuro-oncology, stroke, and cerebrovascular disease. Each report is tailored to the clinical question and includes a description of the imaging findings, their interpretation, and, where appropriate, suggestions for further investigation or management.
Referrals are accepted from clinicians and patients seeking specialist input on complex or uncertain cases. Reports are typically returned within five working days.
